Fitness goals to strive for are dead hanging for at least a minute, wall sitting or air squatting to 90 degrees for at least 2 minutes, and being able to farmer carry half of your body weight in both hands for about 2 minutes. These exercises are proxies for grip strength which, along with mobility and overall physical health, are necessary for longevity.
